If you’re reading this, that means I've had the honor of making memories with you and your family, and WOW I am grateful! All your smiles, laughter, and tears of joy captured have made this job a dream. *cue the happy tears*
I’m grateful to have worked with you, so I wanted to share the news with you first. Christina Joy Photo (aka CJ Hopper) will be making a big change this year. My photography studio (started 12 years ago in Downtown Visalia) will be coming to a close. It feels SO strange to say that out loud. *now cue the sad tears*
I know what you are thinking (the Rona did it), but nope, it's not because of COVID-19 (even though it did make business extremely difficult). It's because the time has come to follow a new path. NO, WAIT, DON'T… I know, it breaks my heart too.

Please don't worry, I'm not going away, at least not entirely. I will take this year to transition and narrow my focus to running a part-time business because,... I have accepted a full-time position in a completely different industry. This is TOTALLY exciting and scary, but I still get to be in the business of helping people, so that makes me very happy.
So, what does this mean for 2021 and beyond? My hope is to offer a limited number of sessions per year to the clients on my VIP list and for NEW clients I will specialize in elopements to Sequoia National Park and the Central Coast.
But Christina, what if I need pictures and you're not available? (great question) I will have a Partner List full of people I know and trust who can provide the same awesome work so you don't miss out on making new memories.
For the clients of weddings currently booked in 2021, I will work my heart out for you guys until I can no more. I am so excited to see you on your special day!
This isn't goodbye, just a new path after breathing and living a photography business every day. Thank you for taking this journey with me. I love you and your families so much. Thank you for all the love and support you give.
Please, do not hesitate to reach out with questions, concerns, or a note to say hello! (…but, if I don't answer right away, you'll know why and won't freak out.)
With gratitude,
