We want a generations session, how can we book you?

Give us a call at our studio:559-595-9691, or send us an email:christina@cjhopper.com. We like to meet new clients in person if possible to go over all of the details. To secure your session we will need a $100 retainer which is applied to your total.

How is CJ Hopper Generations different from regular family portraits?
CJ Hopper Generations is our way of celebrating family. We think parents, grandparents and children are so precious, and we find a lot of joy in capturing the love families share. 
Generation sessions are usually a mixture of formal portraiture and lifestyle photography. Lifestyle photography is what we call portrait-journalism. That is, the images are intended to appear natural and non-posed, yet maintain the high quality of a portrait.  

What are Generations Sessions like?
Generation sessions can be very active and can include changing locations, wardrobe and groupings. They are not really time restrictive (up to 1-2 hours long), nor sitting based, so there is no pressure to perform on the spot. Instead our subjects are encouraged to relax and find natural and comfortable poses with plenty of interaction.

When should I plan a Generations Session? 
Clients find Generation sessions especially useful during the big moments in life such as growing families, graduations, and engagements. Yet there are no boundaries as to what a Generation session can be used for. 

What are Panoramic Generational Portraits?
You will notice a few extra wide family portraits in our gallery, these are very special portraits for especially large families. Our process for achieving such beautiful quality with large groups involves photographing smaller family units separately and combining the images in post production. This ensures that every single person looks their best and is captured at extremely high resolution and detail.

How much should I expect to spend? 
Most of our clients choose an all inclusive collection including the session, prints, digital files and consumer online printing, spending between $400-$600.

Do you travel?
Our standard coverage includes travel to in the Visalia/Tulare Area, up to 30 miles. If you would like to meet somewhere outside of the area, let us know and we will draw up travel plans to meet you where ever you need us to be. 

Will I receive digital copies of my photos? 
We handle digital files two different ways for our clients:  

1) We have found that printing digital images through non-professional labs can sacrifice quality and be very inconvenient. To remedy these issues, we provide clients with one year of "consumer pricing" through our online shopping cart delivering both quality and convenience at the same price of many local print labs. 

2) We deliver printable digital archives and a print release with our all inclusive collections. Digital files are discretely watermarked and "print ready" up to 8x10.

How soon will we see our photos?
It is really important to us that you receive your images and product as soon as possible, without sacrificing quality. Our standard turn around is 2 weeks.
